/Snout Cups |
After the succes of the Pig Snout cup Jorine & Egbert-Jan created more snout cups:
The Pig Snout Cup was the first. Now we designed also a bear, monkey, dog and cow snout cup.
As Egbert-Jan Lam / buroJET and JORINE care about animals we donate an amount of every pig snout cup sold to Pigs in Need, a dutch organisation who cares about good health of pigs.

| /Yoska Cups for IMM-Living |
|
 |
The original Russian wooden Matryoshka dolls date from 1890. Matryoshka meaning mother.
The motherhood connection together with the decreasing sizes placed one inside the other symbolize fertility.
The nested doll principle denotes a recognizable relationship of 'similar object-within-similar object' that appears in the design of many other natural and man-made objects also known as the onion metaphor.
The Matryoshka cups are derived from these famous nested dolls. They are often designed to follow a particular theme, in this case it's peasant women and girls in traditional dress.
The different sizes can be used for different kind of drinks. Stacked together they make a surprising stack, at the same time leaving more space in your storage.
The Yoska cups are designed by Egbert-Jan Lam / buroJET and JORINE . Information:

| /Sunflower Bee |
|
 |
buroJET was asked to create a design for the exhibition Paper Zoo for exhibitionspace MU
17-25 october 2009 during Dutch design week.
For the exhibition Paper Zoo buroJET created an extinct animal in paper: The Sunflower Bee.
The Dutch banknotes before the introduction of the euro were mostly designed by Ootje Oxenaar, they were an excellent example of good Dutch design which has now perished, as a metaphor we have cut the bee out of the 50 guilders banknote and placed it on a pin, in the same way insects are being prepared.
